Lift as you climb

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr, we celebrate his day by considering the ongoing importance of equality, diversity, peace-making and human dignity. And with each of these values, actions speak louder than words, every day! The actions of Martin Luther King were completely informed by his belief and faith in Christian principles. Martin Luther King Day is intended to be more than just quoting him on social media. No, we best remember the higher road blazed by this man by renewing our commitment to advocate for the underprivileged, the marginalized, the poor, the vulnerable and the powerless.

NFGM invites you to stand with us in confronting evil with good – loving people around us, forgiving our enemies, serving those in need. 2020 is a beautiful number for a new year, but already an alarming one considering all the news of the world in just the first three weeks. We can change the picture of what’s coming by keeping our dreams alive, dropping to our knees, and holding fast to the God who hears our prayers every day of this upcoming year.

“The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
