We accept cards year-round and for any occasion including Christmas and Easter. Whether Christmas or not, let’s keep the spirit!
Greeting Cards are echoing in souls more than expected!
After we launched the idea on our mission trip to Syria, more than 1100 refugees' kids received their greeting cards. Each card was handcrafted by child living in the west, holding a wish and dedicating a prayer to a child living in the Middle East. The last May in Turkey, it was overwhelming for Iraqi and Syrian children to receive their own greeting cards...
NFGM is collecting Cards all year round! Please do not hesitate to send your kids' handcrafted cards over, it doesn't have to be a Christmassy card, it can hold any simple wishful thought.
Christmas will live on in Syrian Children’s hearts
Imagine your life as a child in war torn Syria, living in the midst of bombed out buildings and nearly impassable streets - all the result of incoming missiles and blown up minivans packed with explosives. Broken glass lies everywhere, the evidence of months and years of nightly running gun battles. Most important are the families and communities that have been ripped apart. What on earth can now possibly brighten the days of children who have witnessed and endured the carnage and wreckage of the past 7 years called Syria? The answer this past Christmas was the gift of music - from the hearts of Nizar Fares and NFGM Ministries.
While we in America were once again celebrating Christmas in the safety of our homes, opening perfectly wrapped gifts from teeming shopping malls across the country, Nizar Fares, a native son of Lebanon, delivered song to the hearts of 800 children in the city of Homs, located in Northern Syria. His music, well-known among the young in the Middle East, these children clapped and sang along to songs of faith, love and hope. Then, came another heartfelt touch delivered by Nizar and NFGM Ministries - hundreds of handmade Christmas cards created by American kids were given to their thrilled counterparts at the concert.
In America, many people leave their Christmas trees up and continue to turn on their colored Christmas lights in an effort to hang onto and extend the spirit of Christmas. For the children of Homs, Syria who left clutching that unexpected Christmas greeting from a child in America thousands of miles away, Christmas will live on in their hearts every time they see that simple message of hope and love.
To help the hundreds of thousands of children in Syria with every kind of basic need, we invite you to partner with NFGM Ministries as we work to ease the suffering and give hope to the victims of war across the Middle East.
Thank you for all the kids who were part of this Christmas Card project. Please continue to send your handcrafted cards, and spread the word so that next year, we will be able to hand out hundreds of Christmas Cards! Until next year, keep on sending your handcrafted cards over. They doesn't have to be a Christmassy card, they can hold any simple wishful thought.
